Shrimad Baghabatam is valued as the mature ripened fruit of the huge tree called Indian Scriptures. It is believed that reading or listening to Shrimad Bhagabata attentively and submissively is sufficient in itself for realisation of God. Originally written in Sanskrit language, Shrimad Bhagabatm has been rewritten by Atibadi Jagannatha Das in Odia language during 13th century AD. This Odia Bhagabata is considered as a living scripture for most Odias. CANSA Centre is engaged into reading and understanding the Odia Bhagabata through an “Odia Bhagabata Parayana” every week on Fridays.

Anyone interested to join these ongoing sessions, please write to odiabhagabata@cansacentre.com.
